The first step in beginning a new exercise program is to ensure that it is appropriate. In order to determine this, I ask all clients to fill out a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (Par – Q).

The next step is a personal assessment during which I will determine your fitness level by assessing your flexibility, strength and cardiovascular endurance. With this information we will be able to set appropriate goals and establish a program of instruction that will emphasize proper technique, appropriate weight selection, and the correct intensity level for you. As guidance is needed to train at the correct intensity levels to burn fat, build muscle or lose weight, I will regularly monitor your progress, make adjustments where necessary and provide encouragement.
